The POP Diesel Fuel System™(patent pending) is specially designed to attain higher vegetable oil fuel temperatures faster than other systems and maintain the proper temperature under all conditions.   This means a faster switchover from diesel to POP Diesel Fuel™, greater savings to you, and cleaner combustion.   Your engine will realize its maximum performance throughout its life.  No other vegetable oil fuel system is engineered with this goal in mind.

Many other systems use off-the-shelf fuel system parts that are a “close fit” for straight vegetable oil.   Not ours.   Through experience, we learned that only a custom-engineered package will give you the kind of results you expect: operation and maintenance that is no different from the performance of your original manufacturer’s equipment.   The POP Diesel Fuel System™ needs only routine filter changes and does not require any increase to your service intervals.

The POP Diesel Fuel System™ has been tried and tested on the road.   We have customers who have traveled more than 100,000 miles with complete satisfaction and without mishap.

The heart of our system is the POP Diesel Onboard Computer™.   This device digitally manages both the petrodiesel and POP Diesel Fuel System™ to optimize usage of lower cost alternative fuel and protect the engine.   This computer interfaces with other POP Diesel™ commercial grade components specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with your truck’s original equipment.   Your drivers will not have to do anything special to operate the POP Diesel Fuel System™: it runs without the need for driver intervention.

The POP Diesel Onboard Computer™ drives our custom designed POP Diesel Tri-Valve Manifold™ (patent pending).   This manifold combines the functions of multiple valves into a single unit, increasing reliability, decreasing plumbing, and minimizing the chance of air leaks.   This simple yet elegant switching unit has the added advantage and performs the additional function of conditioning fuel with engine coolant at this critical juncture in the POP Diesel Fuel System™ to boost heat transfer and allow operations in the coldest of weather.   The POP Diesel Fuel System™ has been tested and proven in below 0° F temperatures.

The POP Diesel Double Pass Filter Head™ is also an original (patent pending).  It has dual coolant passages running parallel to the fuel passage, allowing increased heat gain to the fuel while simplifying fuel and coolant connections.   You may also add, as an option, the POP Diesel Filter Band Heater™ or a silicon pad heater wired in parallel with your engine block to maintain operations in extreme cold weather conditions.

The POP Diesel Electric In-line Heater™, another unique component (patent pending), is the only self-limiting electrical heater on the market that allows the free, uninhibited flow of fuel from the supply hose through the heater passage to the other side.  It incorporates an internal structure to increase heat transfer to the fuel, enabling faster switchover from petrodiesel to POP Diesel Fuel™.  Finally, after the switchover happens, this design permits more precise final fuel temperature control to maximize the performance of your engine and POP Diesel Fuel™.

The POP Diesel Fuel Tank™ is fabricated to U.S. Department of Transportation standards.  Our tanks are made of aluminium to eliminate the possibility of stationary chemical interactions with vegetable oil which take place in a steel tank.   All fittings are external to eliminate the chance that coolant will enter the fuel system.

The POP Diesel Hose Pack™ features Gates Push Lock hose for all fuel lines.  POP Diesel™ stands alone in providing steel JIC connections for all fuel fittings, vastly reducing the possibility of air leaks which plague other systems that rely on hose barbs and clamp connectors.  We do not use hose-in-hose fuel lines because of the danger this method poses for allowing coolant to enter the fuel system.
